Review on πŸ”‘ Kia Optima Rio Soul Sorrento Sportage Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote - Compatible with 2 Case Shells by Joseph Marshall

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not perfect but cheaper than OEM

Took me about 20 minutes to replace the circuit board and old key with the new key fob. I have experience replacing batteries in phones and Garmins. There are 2 plastic rivets that attach the circuit board to the old key fob that you will have to deal with. I just cut them off with a pocket knife. Had to reuse the old button as the new one didn't fit. Used a new spring and put a load on it, spinning the two shells before connecting them, but the key still didn't pop out on its own. Maybe with some wear and tear. The case is not fully closed. You need to reuse your circuit board and key and make sure you use the rubber dust cover that came with it and not the old one or your buttons won't work. Not perfect, but cheaper than OEM.
