Works perfectly! fits key cases

Works great! A little difficult to assemble but worth it. Was able to use my original key and the silver button that fits the key! Even used a Kia sticker covering the screw on the old one! Like new!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great product at Key Shells

Easy assembly. The only thing you need to know is that the original key will not fit in this keychain. You have to cut the key. I've been using it for a while now and haven't had any problems. Great product for the price.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some bugs

Better than OEM for interiors

Literally better than OEM. With this design, the button trigger is much simpler and more durable. It was a bit difficult to replace, but that's because of the poor OEM design. Get a set of rolling pins and swap the key trigger between the blank key and the old key. It's freaking awesome, I'm so happy!

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Better OEM! suitable for interior decoration

You'll need a little mechanical knowledge to put this thing together, but it's awesome! You simply take apart your old key fob and put the circuit board in this one. PS Also change the battery while disassembling it. I even knocked out the key bolt and replaced the plug with my own. (My old keychain is badly worn)

Pros
  • ideal for a small house
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great new FOB case replacement.

The old FOB key mechanism broke (the metal lock in the FOB broke, so the key didn't stay open or closed, it just swung freely). Taking the old FOB apart was the most difficult part of the whole process. The open and close button with the button "sticky" a little at first, but softened after 20-30 times.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Cheap, poor quality and inaccurate copy.

Cheap, plastic button clips broke off before first assembly. It's also not an exact replica of the original, which means I can't even use my old knobs. The Kia logo on the back of the key fob has also been omitted. Save your money, save your time, save the frustration this has caused me and look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Delivered very quickly
Cons
  • Compatibility

Perfect replacement case for existing key fob

has almost never fallen out of the lock. The dealer asked for $200 to replace the key fob. This product is perfect for replacing my existing key as it provides easy access to the case and the ability to swap out the key and circuit board. 4 stars only because assembly was a little stiff as the parts don't snap/screw together as smoothly as expected. Otherwise very functional.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • The OEM key fob

Not perfect but cheaper than OEM

Took me about 20 minutes to replace the circuit board and old key with the new key fob. I have experience replacing batteries in phones and Garmins. There are 2 plastic rivets that attach the circuit board to the old key fob that you will have to deal with. I just cut them off with a pocket knife. Had to reuse the old button as the new one didn't fit. Used a new spring and put a load on it, spinning the two shells before connecting them, but the key still didn't pop out on its own. Maybe with…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Speed
