I was looking for a hands free option in my car. I don't have a flat surface for a suction cup mount and a windshield is not an option. My husband had a vent clip but I didn't like it because it blocked the vent. But this one provides about 2 inches of ventilation around your phone, or you can just move it a little farther away from the vent. I attached the magnetic plate to the case from the outside and it works great! Very happy with it. I'll see how the clamp holds up, my only concern is that it might break.
