Review on AmazonBasics Filtration Cartridge: The Ultimate Equivalent Replacement Solution by Jeff Hill

Aside from the little label wrapped around the insert, this filter looks just like my regular Culligan RFC BBSA filter. Interestingly, at the time of writing this Revain filter costs $30.32 while the Culligan is only $25.37. Since the filters themselves are identical, Culligan is better now. And when I say they are identical - both this Revain filter and the Culligan filter are made in China and I am assuming they are made at the same time in the same factory by the same company. I know Culligan has held up well over time and I can only assume this will do the same. However, if this breaks down over time or is otherwise different from the Culligan I will update this review. And so - a good filter, exactly the same as that of the competition, but more expensive for some reason. Most likely you will buy the cheapest that is possible.
