This is definitely a great trail camera. I got double the price and it works just as well. One downside is definitely that 8 AA are needed, but most of them require 6 to 8 so it wasn't uncommon. The good thing is that even now it still works with the original set. It's waterproof. I have no complaints about how it behaves at low temperatures. Great pictures, videos, even night vision. I highly recommend that this is your first port of call for trail cameras until you know what other, specific things you want in one. At least like a cell phone.
