Took me a minute to figure it out from the start. At first I thought they sent me the wrong product. However, when I went back and looked at the photo, I saw how the pieces of the puzzle fit together and no tools are required - just a firm push to connect the pieces together. My 2 cats immediately started looking for the new product and soon they started playing with the ball and scratching the scratching posts. They seem to really like to stand up and stretch to reach the top and then scrape down their sides. I also initially sprayed it with catnip to lure them in, but now they use it countless times throughout the day and my furniture is grateful! I definitely recommend it!
