This belt is perfect. Good, thick, single-layer leather, rough around the edges and back, but well finished at the front. Has some stretch, like good leather. I usually wear 34" pants and cut about two inches off this belt including instructions on how to adjust the fit and I made a few holes on either side of my favorite 'seat'. The buckle attaches with a screw and threaded chuck, allowing the length to be cut from the end of the buckle and assembled neatly. Smart enough for a business casual style, but also suitable for jeans.
