Stay away. 2 years old and that's what you get

So it's October 2020 and we all know how this year is going.WTF! ? This year I decided to upgrade my Wayne drain pump with the ESP25 battery backup model which I ordered here today from good ol' Revain, just like I did with the original Wayne pump, model number 56137-WYN3 which I bought on April 8th, 2018 Well now I'm thinking, uh, maybe I should take the time to see if Wayne's main pump, which is currently a sump, is working properly. Guess what? That does not work. I'm checking the plug and hoping I may have pulled the switch at some point. No, the switch did not work, the electricity is connected to the outlet with a voltmeter. pump 6-7 times in the last 2 years. It just won't turn on. As you can see from the pictures, this is probably not normal. Even if it's ok I expect the pump to last 2+ years. especially after just spending another $250 not counting batteries for a backup system for the main system that just won't work/won't turn on/pumping. Yes, I filled the pool completely to the point where the water was about 1 inch below the cement floor to the top of the pool and it just won't pump. All in all, test your hardware and stay away from this brand. Spend your hard-earned cash on a product that does what it's supposed to do. Apologies for the tirade, hoping this can save someone else trouble, time and money. Thanks for reading, stay safe and stay healthy.

Pros
