The joints on this one don't quite fit. It starts to grow perfectly at the base and the top, and in the last few turns it just stops! I backed out because the WD-40 wouldn't turn all the way. There's also one in the middle that does the same thing, the only connection that's screwed all the way in is very loose and wants to come loose! I guess that's why the Leaning Tower of Pisa looks straight! Do you also know when you neutered your dog and they give you that collar? Think of the quality of this collar and its resemblance to the shade! They are about the same quality. I have nothing against a lampshade made of plastic, I think it's awesome. But it must be of decent quality. The styrofoam in the box was of such poor quality it was crumbly and stuck all over my sofa and also statically stuck in this lampshade! I don't know how to get it off my leather sofa. I have ESD protection for your clothes, or I can try drying them with a dryer sheet. I plugged it in and tried to turn it off but the stem hit the wooden floor and started rolling! As soon as I found it, I knew it was my fault, sort of! I turned it left, not right. If I turn it to the left, it falls out. As soon as I turned it on it went off and I tried turning it back on but nothing happened. He stopped. I kept trying and it eventually turned on and turned on again it got brighter turned it on again got brighter turned it on and off again but I don't like the feel of this rod. I'll add some photos so you can see what I mean. This lamp is not worth half the price. I wouldn't pay $20 for that. I wouldn't pay 5€ for that. I wouldn't have it in my house. It's too crooked.
