Review on 💡 Highly Efficient Surge Protector: Progressive Industries EMSHW50C by Joe Unruh

I wanted to give this device a 5 star rating because it works really well. However, the size of the back box is ridiculous when you're dealing with #6 cables. might be fine for a 30 amp unit with #10 wire, but it was very difficult to get everything in place, especially on the side of the trailer because you have to get the booster sensors on the red and black ones attach cables. I ended up getting this to work by cutting off about 4 inches (they recommend 3 inches) so I could initiate bending the wires to get them into the contactor terminals. First do the bottom, twist it and make it as flat as possible, then red and black and apply white to red and black. The Line side was easier because there are no amp pickups on that side. My progressive advice: make the backbox 2 inches longer, it will save everyone in earshot from a crazy swearing installer.
