They're not precise or consistent, but they're good for things like adjusting valve clearance. I would return them if I used them for machine work. I randomly picked a few blades and recorded them with a microphone. .020 was good in .0204. 0.019 was 0.0184 and 0.018 was 0.0182 - terrible. 0.005 was fine with 0.0052. 0.010 was right at 0.0100. 0.015 was 0.0155, which is not very good. None of these errors affect valve performance for what I bought it for and I re-etched it to size so I at least know the actual thickness. The overall quality, apart from the dimensions, is good, there are no rough edges, the thickness is the same along the entire length of the blade. The hinge uses a nut and bolt so you can not only adjust the tension but also remove the blades for cleaning or rearrange them.
