Does what it's supposed to

This is a simple and useful tool. This is not the highest quality available at any price. This is the tool that the average man who isn't swayed by the desire to own the very best for no real reason buys. Keep them clean and lubricated and they'll last longer. Get them wet and put them dirty, they are likely to rust. I happened to find that the .13 blade was bent in the wrong place. Or is it a feature? It holds the stack in place in the tray. Maybe it was intentional. works for me

Pros
  • GAP MEASUREMENT: Use this ABN feeler gauge when you need to quickly and easily measure gap widths
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Suitable for general use - Sizing

They're not precise or consistent, but they're good for things like adjusting valve clearance. I would return them if I used them for machine work. I randomly picked a few blades and recorded them with a microphone. .020 was good in .0204. 0.019 was 0.0184 and 0.018 was 0.0182 - terrible. 0.005 was fine with 0.0052. 0.010 was right at 0.0100. 0.015 was 0.0155, which is not very good. None of these errors affect valve performance for what I bought it for and I re-etched it to size so I at least…

Pros
  • VARIOUS APPLICATIONS: For everything from guitars to motors and everything in between; Metric and standard SAE sizes included (millimeters and inches)
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

OK. I received them on time and used them on my Honda. I adjusted by a thousandth of an inch to make sure I had good clearance and it occurred to me to check the sensors. since I have a micrometer and a caliper calibrated to 1/1000 that I use for reloading etc. 0.008 0.009 is slightly more than 0.009 and 0.010 is actually less than 0.009? what happened to it I checked 0.012 and it's ok so now I'll use 0.009 for the inlet and 0.012 for the outlet and see how we go. A tight fit on the gauge…

Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
