This strap surprised me because the manufacturer stated that leather is tough but softens with age. This is one of the smoothest, softest and most flexible straps I have come across. I really wasn't expecting this from what appeared to be a roughly hewn rustic strap. Otherwise, the quick-release function works wonderfully, as expected. , and I very quickly attached the strap to my Fossil Gen 5e watch. Last but not least, the manufacturer includes an extra quick release pin, an extra loop for a leather strap, and a tool to help you deal with non-quick release pins when replacing a strap fitted with these old devices. All for twenty dollars - sounds good to me!
