Don't buy them from disposable groceries
I've never bought oxygen scavengers. They cannot be vacuum packed in a resealable bag without packaging instructions. I pulled out a handful and put them in jars of kibble and left the rest in open packages on my counter. I came back an hour later and the bag felt hot. I put them in a jar and all the condensation in the picture has collected and the jar smells awful.
