I just got mine yesterday, just in time for the next pickle pickle. Good size and weight, feels good in the hand. This worked well but I had some trouble getting a clean/complete cut. In my opinion it's spicy, but not spicy enough to be sure. When you start with a slice, it's sometimes hard to push, and then, boom, it slices through the middle very quickly and crashes into the cutting board. (Don't bother with your fingers) But sometimes at the end of the incision it doesn't cut through the skin, it breaks. If it were sharper it would cut easier and be a safer tool. My cucumbers are fresh off 3-4 inch long vines, not old tuff skins from the grocery store. I'll try sharpening it with a ceramic stick, maybe it will help.
