Great as the final step in a reverse osmosis system
Use this as the final step in a reverse osmosis system to restore the water's natural taste. Rinsed with a 1/4" faucet first. Turned on cold water and ran 80 psi water through for about 60 seconds. The water was dark for 10 seconds and then went clear. and the water tastes great. The reverse osmosis water and deionizing filter produced 0 ppm metallic flavored water. After this filter it tasted great with a slight increase in dissolved solids of 24 ppm.
