Got this as a Christmas present for garden use. Living in a cold climate I haven't had a chance to test it yet. The sound of this device is very impressive. Bluetooth speakers have come a long way in the past few years (I had 5 or 6 back then), but they top the list when it comes to sound quality. However, when I actually used it for the first time yesterday, I found the Bluetooth connection to be weaker than any other device I've had. I switched phones, moved the speaker to make sure it wasn't picking up interference, placed the phone at different distances, none of these settings made a difference. Regardless of the phone, location or distance, the Bluetooth connection dropped for a good 10 seconds about every five minutes. This renders the speaker more or less unusable. Moral of the story: if you're just an Ultimate Ears speaker, make sure you test it fully within the warranty period because there are lemons.
