We have been using the Dial automatic soap dispenser for many years. We liked that it was a touchless dispenser that dispensed a set amount as it was helpful for our disabled son. However, over the years there have been problems with leaks, unintended operation and battery drain. At some point it became impossible to find refill cartridges, then the device turned yellow, discolored and stopped working. That's when I did my research and found this refillable automatic soap dispenser that allowed me to use my own choice of liquid soap. I appreciate that very much. and this reduces the amount of waste. Best of all, it produces foam! Lather is much easier to spread on hands and prevents large drops of liquid soap from getting onto the sink and countertop. I also appreciate that we can choose from 2 options for the amount of foam to deliver and prefer the higher value (which saves over using 2 smaller amounts) which is enough for adults to do a thorough job. I haven't had any issues with the device accidentally triggering when wiping down the sink or tidying up, which was a big problem with our old dispenser. The only improvement I would like is a way to "lock in" the soap case. When I picked up a block to clean underneath the other day, I didn't think to pick up the top block for the soap tank and the tank fell out. Thankfully nothing spilled or anything but it was amazing and I wish it would rip or rip. Overall, while I like it a lot more than our old system, I am planning on getting another one for the kitchen and maybe one for the master bathroom. I love lather without hands!
