Some time ago someone hit me from the side, damaging the left outside mirror cover and breaking half of the mirror glass. I obviously failed the MOT due to a broken mirror for safety reasons, so I started calling several body shops and dealerships to get a price for a complete left wing mirror replacement (cover and glass). After receiving an outrageous offer of over $300 I decided to see for myself if I could just replace the mirror myself as that is all I need to pass the test and stumbled upon it. It took me probably 15 minutes to remove and install the mirror. New mirror and I'm so happy with the results. I've never done anything to my car before and it was pretty easy. The quality is great and the price is even better.
