The jacket fitted my shoulders very well but it was too big in the waist. So I look a little overweight. However, I didn't buy the coat to be super fashionable, but to be warm and cute during the break. For a teacher, this is the perfect coat. Because it's wide at the waist, I have enough room to tuck a jacket underneath. It is very warm and generally suits my needs. I would recommend for the price it's a great deal. In general, my body type is difficult to compare. I have shoulders, I'm tall, long arms and a thin waist, needs some flex so I'd say it fits almost as expected, a little more at the waist than I thought it would.
