I can't believe how difficult it was to find shorts with the mesh liner that didn't look like 70's gym shorts rejects. These come just above the knee (I'm 5'10") and fit quite well. One very minor complaint is the lack of grommets in the pockets: at first, I thought no grommets meant I'd be walking around with pockets full of water, but they seem to drain quickly enough. And at least it has pockets!
