I have not used this product but the hammer and blue mat have a very strong chemical smell as stated in one of the previous reviews. The instruments appear to be newly made and emit chemicals. For now I put them outside to give them some time to fully release the chemical gases they give off (I washed them with dish soap beforehand but the smell lingers). The tools themselves appear to be of good quality and I look forward to using them. I write 2 weeks after purchase. The smell is still there on the hammer, but it's gone on the blue carpet. I will be returning the item for this reason.
