Works great. I put the brush in one of the small side pockets of my bag so it doesn't get tangled up when the bag is in the trunk of my car. Soft bristles are good for the back of the stick, while brass is good for the face. I haven't tried a spike cleaner brush yet. I actually wish the spike cleaner wasn't appropriate as I find it dangerous and I prefer a stiffer stainless steel brush to brass.
