We have an old souvenir cabinet (over 6ft tall) with a completely broken light fixture. It was an old-fashioned halogen with a transformer on top that plugged into the wall. We wanted a simple and affordable replacement with a warm light that's also plug-in so we don't have to fiddle with batteries. That's great. The backlight puck is thin and light and the self-adhesive stickers work great. We just stuck one of the puck bulbs in a recess at the top of the closet and ran some small wires to it, plugged everything in and the light came back! A small remote control regulates the brightness levels and the on/off function. And the light is a beautiful amber color, warm and soft. We're looking at ways to use the other two lights and maybe get more.
