First of all. This is not the same ventilation design as the base camp mask. It's not really a problem, but I like it when things match up and I only have to replace one. Secondly. They fit snugly into the internal filter opening and the vent cover slides over them, rather than attaching to the mask itself and using an internal clip like the originals. I would prefer a different design so I don't have to worry about wearing mask fabric or losing a piece. Third, and it doesn't really apply to those vents. Base Camp actually glues parts of its vents together with the part of the vent that attaches to the mask itself, so I had to carefully use wire cutters to cut it off without damaging the fabric of the mask. However, it's nice to have both. Ventilation works again. despite the above problems. Many Thanks.
