Square spoons make it easier to scoop straight out of spice jars, so I went with them. They are well made and even have a 1/2 tbsp which I never had (always had to rate). The colors on the handles are nice and also different from each other (although I end up recognizing them without reading the size). The only thing is that the grip is a bit chunkier than I thought so they don't fit very snugly. But that's not the main problem as I hang them up.
