Review on ANCEL BA101 Professional Automotive Motorcycle by Bob Vulpes

Just took this product to test a 12v RV battery and a pair of 6v batteries*. Very simple/easy to use product. I have used an ANCEL product before so the reading and ease of use is as easy as their other products. No external power supply or simple adjustments required to test the integrity of your batteries. As far as I can tell, you can't test lithium batteries, but you can test all other lead/liquid/AGM batteries with this product. The small and compact form factor makes this tool very portable, especially for traveling on wheels when maintenance and testing is needed at some point. I love how you can specify specific options like "in vehicle" and "out of vehicle" or type in CCA so it can run specific tests for your setup. As mentioned, I am using this product for an RV scenario where batteries are critical. to operate certain devices in the motorhome, such as lights, refrigerators and fan heaters. It's a much-needed tool for testing your tool arsenal to ensure your rig is running at peak performance. More importantly, check/test for potential problems. No one wants to start a journey with empty batteries. I specifically needed this product to test this particular scenario. Of course, the battery of my tractor is also tested with it. Overall, the ease of use, form factor, and price make this a great product. I highly recommend. *Note: As far as I can read, this does not test 6v batteries themselves. I was able to test my two 6 volt batteries by running them in series where they output an estimated 12 volts.
