These connectors work well and are easy to use. Just crimp the pins on the wires, plug in the plug and socket, and you're ready to connect. The plugs fit together well, but can be easily removed with a push lever. Silicone seals keep water and other liquids out. The temperature limit is over 250 degrees so they will work in the engine bay as long as they are not too close to the exhaust pipe. They work with 14 to 20 gauge wire and I tried both to make sure they would work. 14 is almost too big, but it can be done if you take your time crimping and the insulation isn't too thick. They are good for attaching electrical accessories to your vehicle and also make them easy to remove if necessary. The overall quality is very good and there is almost no resistance between the connectors if you crimp the wires well. No complaints, I'm very happy with this set of connectors.
