Review on Formula Energy 235/65 R17 108V summer by Adam Czajkowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

I learned more about the tires in relation to their "Big Brothers" Pirelli Cinturato P6 195/65 R15 predecessors. It's a Suzuki SX4 vehicle. Already traveled almost 7000 kilometers on it. At the beginning of the warm season, I replaced my tires. 10 to 20 gram loads each wheel were hung. Frost arrived as expected right after switching from winter to summer tires. Thankfully, there wasn't any ice, and the tires handled the frost perfectly. It's true that the first few kilometers of the journey involved considerable stiffness. The noise made by the rubber is the first difference I noticed between these tires and Pirelli. On this, in my opinion, the flaws were resolved. The words "not inferior" or "superior" will be added to everything else. Most notably, the car is less likely to hydroplane. The car started to feel better in corners (does not break), the smaller one feels striking the rut, and so on. It went horribly wrong at Pirelli. In every weather, braking on pavement is predictable and equal to the Big Brother. A trucker who was similarly not in a hurry rubbed me into the curb on the highway. It was obviously not intended for dirt. The tread pattern makes this clear at a glance. Here, there are no illusions. One more subtlety: the steering wheel pushes when there is a strong side wind. You must be calm and be ready for this. There was no wear during this time, that I could see. I came to the conclusion that the tire is absolutely nothing. Pah-pah.

Pros
  • handling, resistance to hydroplaning.
Cons
  • a little noisy.
