
I bought this webcam hoping it would capture clear video. But I was wrong, very wrong. I uploaded a picture and a video captured by the camera. The video is played at 30 frames per second in HD format. You can see that the still image is barely legible, while the autofocus wobbles in the video. I had to disable autofocus to prevent this. I have enough light to cover the area so that's not a problem. I guess a webcam just isn't designed for that kind of overhead. A similar video captured with my iPhone shows the perfect picture. Update March 2021 I came across a fix on YouTube that involves removing the camera and rotating the lens, search for "Logitech C920 Auto-Focus Fix".
