Review on 🔌 Zettler Miniature Power Relay: 30A SPDT 120VAC AZ2280-1C-120A - High-Performance Solution for Various Power Applications by Ryan Morrow

I was looking for a relay that could be connected to the output of a PIR detector so I could trigger motion detection to open contacts on a wireless Z-Wave sensor and close. This relay has worked brilliantly for this purpose. This relay offers both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts (I needed NC but I found it more convenient to use one relay with both). The relay makes a fairly audible click when opening or closing, which was actually an advantage for me. I could easily tell when the motion sensor detected motion by testing and adjusting the sensitivity. The relatively small size was also an important consideration for me as I needed to fit the relay and Z-Wave sensor in a weatherproof enclosure. I didn't realize until I started wiring the relays that the AC input terminals are smaller (3/16") than the Common and NO/NC terminals (1/4"), luckily for me, even at the small Podunk hardware store. I had both sizes on hand.
