Overall a good product but it also has some disadvantages. The shock function is really handy when dealing with thick-coated puppies. But hopefully you don't use it so often that it becomes a problem. The biggest problem is actually the remote control. It makes a loud noise when a button is pressed, and while there's an option for L, M, or H, I've found in my experience that changing the volume on the remote doesn't actually change the volume on the remote, which is Poorly. because it causes your pup to associate the negative reinforcement with you and not with their behavior. So I end up not using it anymore because it didn't have the effect I was looking for. Problem with controller not loading. I contacted support and they sent me a replacement with no problems. The replacement was a different model than what the collar called but pairing was very easy but the remote volume issue was still an issue.
