Review on πŸ“» Portable Tabletop Weather Radio - Analog Tuning AM FM Radio Ideal for Power Outages and Emergencies - Small 2-Band Radio with Headphone Jack, Stable Reception, and Quality Sound by Quintin Gore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great performer - handsome and well built for only $20!

Solid old style radio, nicely finished and feels solid. Morning is quite strong, afternoon San Antonio KTSA (AM 550) is fished. (NOTE: KTSA is my "reference" station for AM sensitivity testing, so San Antonio is about 200 miles from my home). FM reception catches all stations in and around Houston. The NOAA weather radio works satisfactorily (many more expensive radios claim to have this feature but don't provide weather alert stations - it does!) Added value: built-in power supply! Pretty good sound - the only problem is that the tuning knob is too small in the current position to surf smoothly in the air range. A larger wheel would be better, or swapping the position of the volume control (on the side) with the tuning control. Yes, I'm a picky radio collector and I think the grip issue is probably "not a problem at all" for most people. Bargain under $20.00 and highly recommended and actually 5 stars at this price point.
