This is one of those items that is more necessary than anything else. If you have a glass walled shower you need a mop to dry it off after use - this really helps prevent soap scum and other nasty things from building up on the glass and keeps it cleaner, longer with less scrubbing. Think of it as preventive maintenance for your shower. At least when you need something, it can still be nice - and this scraper is really good. It comes with a screw and is durable. The hanger fits over the glass wall and holds the mop well, easy to hook in and out, and the hanger allows it to dry completely. Of course, like any rubber scraper, it wears out over time and needs to be replaced, but at the same time it's useful, attractive (for what it is) and reasonably priced for such a product. And that's all you really need from a shower squeegee. The only major caveat is that you need a place to hang it. So if your walls are all the way up to the ceiling, you need to find another method.
