I purchased this with a 50ft chain of the same type from the same manufacturer/seller. I bought this material to make a chain kilt which I spray painted to look like a metal chain. It worked great. I cut it into sections and had to attach the sections to the chain strap which I made first. I used a hacksaw to cut one side of the link and was able to snap them into place without having to use these links. I know they will come in handy if the chain ever breaks and I need to fix it and I don't have a hacksaw handy!
