I love that the jacket is lightweight yet provides the warmth my dog needs. I have a 15lb Cavalier Spaniel, he tends to be thinner but this jacket allows him to play comfortably in the snow. I really like that it covers all four paws so his feathers don't get wet when it snows or rains - plus the jacket is so light my dog can wear it in warmer weather when it rains without getting hot. .A few issues: This coat runs small. I ordered a medium and it's still in some spots on my dog who is a toy breed (13 inches to the withers, 14 inches from the withers to the base of the tail). Another possible problem is that the zipper is flimsy because when I had it fully closed on my dog when we got back from a walk I found his teeth had been knocked out. However, this may just be another sign that the jacket is too small for my dog. Overall it works for me and my dog but if I had the money to buy another jacket for him I would definitely do it.
