Review on ๐Ÿ” Aventik Edison Zoom Capable Design App by Jeff Kersey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good adhesion in addition to superglue

Advantages: 1. The included UV lamp is well designed.2. The device comes with a free plastic case, but I don't recommend leaving it in a horizontal position. I feel better when I'm standing. (see my photo) 3. I believe this glue is as strong as super glue but not stronger than super glue. A distinctive feature of this adhesive is that it hardens under the influence of UV radiation. The glue will set when you decide when to attach it. Unlike super glue, this glue doesn't stick to your fingers. Disadvantages: 1. Impossible to glue opaque objects (e.g. spoon handles). The UV light must reach the glue to cure it.2. The adhesive feels slightly tacky even after it has cured. I can't say if he's fully healed.3. Do not look into UV light. The reviewer reports "pain in the eyes". UV light can damage your eyes.4. Make sure you have two powerful AAA batteries. Weak batteries do not generate enough UV to cure the adhesive well. I have found that sunlight will also cure the glue. I leave the item I applied the glue to in direct sunlight for a few minutes and the glue will set.

Pros
  • glass, metal Special UV adhesive 270 (571) for glass, quartz, ceramics, metal, also suitable for plastics. It can also be used in crystal products and electronics potting. It has a specially developed viscosity of 2500 to 3000 cps for better adhesion with a relatively narrow fracture surface.
Cons
