He shouldn't have done that.
The threaded body apparently cracked during installation and I didn't notice it for about 6 months. So I had a dripping leak running down the wall and practically flooding the bottom compartment, which I had never opened until recently. So now I'm venting and afraid of a possible repair. Luckily summer is coming soon. Contacted seller, no response.
