I wore this when I traveled to Colorado in December. I ran 11,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains and it totally warmed me up. Under normal circumstances, this item is ideal. However, once we got to the top of the mountain and the wind picked up, I could use a very tight beanie under that hood because my ears were starting to get a little cold. Note, however, that this is happening at extreme altitude and with extreme temperatures. Otherwise, this item was surprisingly warm and cozy.
