Review on πŸ”Œ Sabrent USB 3.0 Hub for iMac Slim Uni-Body (HB-IMCU) - 4-Port High-Speed Connectivity by Payton Luna

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a very good product but people should read the instructions.

I also bought an iMac hub with four USB ports in the past. Note: I've read the instructions and I think most of the bad reviews are because people don't. on the back of your iMac. However, the instruction manual for this device shows that the hub is connected to the Thunder port closest to the USB ports. It will never snap into air vents via this port, the one next to the ethernet port works perfectly. The reason why the air vents have supports, and if you try to install with your schematic, the tabs on the right hand side when looking at the unit from the back end up right on top of one of those supports. Moving to the second Thunder slot works fine. Most people will never find out for themselves what emerges from the returned messages and articles. What most people don't know is that almost every hub that needs to use an external device requires an additional power supply. Your original four USB hub didn't come with a power adapter and the instructions didn't explain this. Don't think everyone knows. And the company I bought the first device from didn't sell your external power supply. The USB-C input they state in their manual doesn't support power charging. The best way to say what it would be. "The USB-C port is for input only and doesn't support charging external devices." That should be obvious to almost everyone by now.
