These are lovely lights. Unraveling them out of the box does take some patience; however, but no more than other lights do. It took me 5-10 min once I understood how it's designed (the white plastic clips indicate where an icicle comes down).HOWEVER, the light sequence pattern resets every time we turn it off. The plug is outside and switch is inside. There's a button on the plug that you push to get through the sequence settings. It's unbelievable that the setting can't be maintained after it's turned off and we have to go out each time to press the button. The "default" setting is obnoxious with how it cycles through every pattern.They're already up, so if they go back it'll be after the holidays.
