I was skeptical. I have thick hair that doesn't like to frizz very much. Apply when my hair was damp, almost dry, and leave on for about 5 hours. The curls came out beautifully (first photo when I first removed the curlers) and stayed in place all week (second photo - 2 days, 2 workouts and 2 showers later). Of course after a week the curls became less noticeable as I brushed my hair but the curls were there for 5 days. Some of these may be products I have used (month products are only for my hair and the curling cream is a game changer) but I am very happy with this purchase. Just a tip, use a very small amount of hair per curler. If you put too much hair on the hook, it will get caught when you pull it through the curlers. An awkward situation, but I just took off the curlers, reduced the amount of hair and tried again. Works well with less hair. Also, I bought a pack of 30 and I was about 10 rollers short of a full head. I ended up buying 2 packs.
