Review on 🔘 iJDMTOY (1) Factory Style 4-Pole 12V Push Button Switch with LED Background Indicator Lights - Fog Lights, DRL, LED Light Bar - 200 Series Toyota, 33x22mm by Sam Davenport

I use these switches on my DRLs which I installed correctly with the relay. This is my third switch. The first got very hot and soon melted. The second did not fit in the factory cut-out in the dashboard 42mm x 24mm. It was too big hair. The third came and the orange backlight looks regular and very nice. I like how the fog light icon is constantly on and when activated the bar lights up as well. But then I noticed that the switch got hot again. I knew my wiring was correct. I used the correct fuses. All my connections were strong. And then I realized the problem: The lightbulbs in that button/switch are small incandescent bulbs that give off a lot of heat. If you leave these bulbs on for an extended period of time, the two bulbs (inside the switch) will generate quite a bit of heat and eventually melt the button's plastic casing. So I removed the ground wire (black) from the wiring harness and just used the switch as a simple on/off function. It sucks because I liked that it looked stock and backlit, but I'm not trying to start an electric fire. I'll probably end up spending more money and buying a better LED switch.
