Perfect headphones. The excellent quality and the ability to change the bass on the fly is fantastic when you want to switch from listening to in-game music to more voice-heavy cutscenes where the treble is more important. I had a great time with it and never had to charge it for the 2 or 3 hour sessions I used it for. But after about 30 minutes into each session, I had to adjust the bandage in a different spot to relieve the tremendous pain caused by the foam hitting the bandage on different parts of my head. My Oculus Rift S has a thin band of fabric that runs down the center of my head to keep it in place, so it absolutely doesn't need the over-compensating two-tab design that the headband offers. Using it for devices that don't have a central point to enter this gap between the foam makes this foam deadly painful after a short time of play. It's not memory foam or anything like that. To my surprise, however, I was able to pull the foam a couple of times, exposing the sticky bottom layer. I pry it off using a small screwdriver as leverage and it immediately came off like a sticker. I threw it away immediately and have never regretted it. The headphones are now in perfect condition and I can wear them for as long as my eyes can follow the game without realizing I'm wearing them. I believe that's because the foam concentrates the headphones' weight on two small points on your head when there's nothing under the foam to keep it off your head, while no foam concentrates the weight on the entire strap like regular headphones would equalize. Overall a fantastic bass. Large sound range. Directional audio always works, even with YouTube videos I don't expect it to work, and it's refreshingly addictive every time. Playing back the user's voice through a microphone is incredibly useful for chat conversations, however, it's difficult to hear yourself even during loud gunplay like Halo or Call of Duty. I'm very very glad I got 4 velcro straps for managing cables. I use them for all types of cables in my setup, including the cable layout for my VR headset and headphones. With careful handling very reusable Velcro. Everything has been thought of with this particular VR headset, especially the ability to easily remove the uniquely shaped foam headband.
