Anyone remember the fashionable belts of the early 1970s? This belt is almost the same width. I'm not a big fan of fashion, but I'm a big fan of functionality. Unfortunately, this belt is too wide to fit through the loops of my pants. I can get it to work, but it takes too much effort. I don't mind hard work, but not when it comes to putting on pants/shorts. If this belt was a little less wide, everything would be fine. It's solid enough and doesn't look bad. I like that it comes in different colors. My initial plan was to buy others for my pants/shirts in other colors. But I'm afraid that's the last thing I'll buy until they narrow it down a bit.
