This is a great affordable carrycot option. We originally bought it to keep next to the bed but ended up using it in the living room for sleeping instead. I really like that there is mesh on all sides of the carrycot. Our baby is one month old and I found him already pushed to the side, facing the net. Knowing it's mesh and not thicker fabric is reassuring as it won't choke. I would advise every mother to buy this or a similar full mesh design to protect their children. The only downside to this bassinet is that it doesn't rock and doesn't have wheels to calm you down during busy times. There is also no foldable side. So if you've had a cesarean, it can be difficult/painful to bend up and down to pick up your baby, especially when using it next to a bed.
