Review on Marmot Women's Precip Jacket: A Gemstone in Women's Clothing for Coats, Jackets & Vests by Ricky Habbani

This jacket turned out to be much better than I expected and I had high expectations. I wanted a compact, waterproof/breathable jacket that would fit my shape. The color is beautiful (arctic fleet). I was expecting it to be cold since it has no fleece lining, but I wanted a jacket that could be used for travel and year round as I live in New England. I thought it would be better to take a jacket that you can wear fleece underneath. This jacket kept me warm even without a fleece on a 40 degree day. Love the velcro sleeves and zip collar to hide the hood when not in use. I'm pear shaped, 5ft 5in, 139lbs and I took a medium size and it fits me. I recommend going up a size if you are a hippie as it is smaller there. When I'm not using it, I can fold it into one of the inner pockets for use when traveling. I definitely recommend this jacket.
