Don't know much about Samsung phones because I've never used one. I was not a fan of their overall structure or any of its individual parts. My outlook changed after S8 was out. I got hooked on Xiaomi's flagships and decided it wasn't worth spending more than $500 on a phone, so I've been upgrading to a new mi every year. Stunning aesthetics and sleek exterior; I almost bought it. After the Galaxy S8, S9, and S10 were released by Samsung, I visited a booth in multiple malls to try them out. Even though I liked all of the phones, even the checkpoint 9, I couldn't work up the nerve to buy one. After almost a year with a Xiaomi Mi9, I could find no fault with the phone aside from its battery life. Other than that, I loved everything about it, including its camera, design, and display. A Note 10 was on display at the hardware store I visited at one point. In fact, a discount was just announced: 55 percent for the younger worker and 65 percent for the elder worker. I was going to buy it because it was slightly smaller than the mi9, but then I realized that other online retailers were selling the older model for about $55 (including shipping), so I went ahead and placed an order. I turned it over in my hands and found that it was the perfect size and weight for my needs. I was on the verge of making a purchase because it was somewhat more compact than the mi9. It was cumbersome to get used to the size, and it was problematic to fit in the car window, but it maintained the loudspeaker function. A friend of mine uses an S10 and swears by it for day-to-day tasks, but ever since upgrading to a Note 10 Plus, I've abandoned the tablet altogether, both at home and while traveling for work. It's great to be able to view movies on a big screen while in the air. I had no issue adjusting to the higher neckline, and in fact I prefer it to a lower one. Even with intensive use, the battery holds its charge until I go to night, which is impressive. While the Mi9's wider frame is amazing, I found that its main camera was not noticeably better than the one on my old phone. The mi9 has a more user-friendly phonebook and dialer interface. The reduced display size is likely to blame for this. One of the characteristics of name-brand headphones that I found most useful was the option to charge them backwards. When I saw how cheap it was, I knew I had to get it, but now that I know that, I won't be buying anything else.
