I really wish they were better. The first one stuck, like everything I used, and I switched brands halfway through the tattoo. You can seriously scratch someone if you're not careful. They're only inconsistent when they work, the lines are fine, but you run the risk of seeing which pins get stuck and which don't. I upgraded to Gen 3 and had no problems with it. I also have to mention that I bought the 11RL and 3RL and the 3s work great, only got stuck once but the 11s all seem to get stuck. It's a shame.
