This product seemed quite sturdy, and kept my energetic toddler indoors for about a month. One day after the return period expired, my two year old opened the door, tugged on the chain (like he did every day) and a piece of a chain just straight up broke and fell out! He’s TWO, so I don’t think he could have broken a NORMAL steel chain. Meaning this is probably some low quality metal. He ran out into the streets! Luckily I caught him in time. This product is no good if you’re trying to keep out an enthusiastic toddler. In fact it’s dangerous and I can not recommend this to any parent.
